EDGE is a 3G like service that is slower than 3g. The problem is that it is activated on every sim by default and if you donot have wifi nearby and you have not yet subscribed to 3g, YOU ARE GOING TO ENDUP WITH BILL for that EDGE usage.

This is mistake most people commit and regret, so did I !! But i dont want you to repeat the same.

To disable EGDE on your iPhone do the following :

Step 1 : Settings/General/Network and turn off >Enable 3g and >Data Roaming

Step 2 : Go to www.iphonenodata.com on your iphone and Click on Disable Edge/3G

Step 3 : Install the requested application.

Step 4 : No step 4 yaar !!
